Berroco Knitting Tote

The start of my Berroco Suede Knitting Tote. I have a few more inches to go before I can begin decreasing. I'm using the Suede Tri-color so that I could add a little more interest. I like how the stripes are forming. In the lower left hand corner is a tassel that I made. I will make another and attach it to the sides of the bag.

Louisa Harding Shawl

This is a photo of my recently completed Louisa Harding shawl. I suppose if I were thin enough I could wear it as a mini skirt. It is so soft. Doris, at my LYS taught 3 of us how to make it. A fabulous teacher. I found the buttons in my antique button collection.

Flower Pins

These are 2 flower pins that I made my neices...sshhh...they don't know. I used Louisa Harding ribbon, and some fuzzy Moda Dea that I had in my stash. I then found some heart charms at Michael's and sewed them on. Ok, so Kellie's charm says Kelly; and Danielle's charm says Dan...but it works.

Blossom Bag

Blossom Bag from Emma King's 25 Bags book. Made exclusively with Rowan yarns. I changed the handle on the bag so that I could wear it on my shoulder. I may need to line it for extra support.

My Crazy Lime Felted Hat

Here's my crazy LIME felted hat. I used a free pattern from Crystal Palace Yarns with Iceland and Squiggle. The flower was an addition from a class I took at my LYS. (Still trying to think about where I'll wear this!)

Knitting Needle Case

This is a needle case that my mother made me. She lives just outside of Charlotte, NC. And, I am in New York (boo hoo). She's really a quilter, but she also knits, and sews. She will tell you that her sewing was a little crooked, but this needle case is just perfect for me.

Pre-Felted Araucania Magallanes Bag

I finished knitting up this bag last night. It is pre-felted, so hence not finished...perhaps tonight I'll run the washer. This was made with Araucania Magallanes...just a bit over one skein was used. I also used some eyelash yarn to add a bit of pizazz. The top will ruffle, as I cast on 120 stitches, and then decreased to 80 stitches. At the bottom I switched to a smaller circular needle, and then started to decrease again, at the four corners. I'm hoping after it felts it will taper a bit toward the bottom. I ended with about 40 stitches, 20 stitches each side, plus 2 stitches on the sides and did a 3 needle bind-off. The bottom should felt flat.
